Refund policy

We have a 7-day refund policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a refund. 

If you have received a bad batch eg burnt or broken product then you will be entitled to a refund upon photo evidence.

We are unable to offer refunds for events outside of our control, including but not limited to:

  1. Delays caused by courier companies
  2. Orders that are stolen after delivery
  3. We will not offer refunds if it is not to the consumers taste
  4. Incorrect delivery information provided by the customer

Translation without the corporate fluff:
If the courier drops it off and some sticky-fingered neighbor nicks it off your porch, that’s sadly not on us. We’ll always try to help where we can — but we're a small biz, not Amazon.

If your order is lost or damaged during transit, we will work with the courier company to try and resolve the issue where possible. In cases of theft or confirmed delivery where the order has gone missing, we may offer a one-time replacement at our discretion.

To be eligible for a refund, you will need the receipt or proof of purchase.

After contacting us with your refund request will need to assess. Once accepted, then you will be refunded within 5 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund. If more than 7 business days have passed since we’ve approved your refund, please contact us at admin@basicazbakes.co.nz

Please inspect your order upon receiving and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns as certain types of items, (such as food, flowers, or plants) are perishable goods. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your item you have received.
